Boss obtained his HR title at 18 months of age, his HRCH title at 19 months of age. He also had
his AKC Master Hunter title. With 320 HRC points, Boss was working
toward his Grand title before his passing.
Boss came from a long line of Champions, both AKC and UKC registered, he is EIC and
CNM clear, his eyes CERFED clear and his hips were OFA good. Boss was DNA
profiled with both AKC and UKC, he has a large good looking blocky head, a
lustrous glossy black coat, and a deep chest on his 80# frame. Boss was chocolate factored.
Boss hunted geese and grouse in Minnesota, pheasants in Kansas, and of course ducks,
geese, and dove in Louisiana and Texas. From the open waters of Catahoula Lake, the bean fields
of the Louisiana Delta, or the flooded timber of the Red River he is quite in the
blind but all business when sent on a retrieve. He was as comfortable laying beside my chair
watching a ball game as he is in the duck blind or on the retrieving line.
